About Kaylie Eaves

Raised on a small family farm in Chesaning, Michigan, I've spent over ten years passionately immersed in the world of horses. Under Phil Oaks, a master in Truth-Based Horsemanship, I've sharpened my expertise since a teenager to now. My experience spans various roles: a show groom and barn manager at a hunter jumper barn/equine hospital, a stable hand nurturing dressage horses, managing a YMCA horse camp, running a private hobby horse farm, and enhancing an Arabian show barn. I've led as head wrangler at a Tennessee guest ranch before taking a break from the horse industry and completing an online horse business class. I started my horse training business in Tecumseh, MI in 2021 and moved it to Ohio at the end of 2022 for more opportunity. Continuously learning, I delve into horse nutrition and behavior, and annually, I fine-tune my skills with mentors, Phil and Brent Graef. Competitively, I've excelled in the 2024 Appalachian Trainer Face-Off and Horseman's Mission Colt Starting challenge. My passion is unlocking colts' potential and repairing relationships with challenging horses, and guiding others in their equestrian partnerships.
