Justice

If you’re looking for the sweetest gaited gelding, here’s your boy!

Justice is a grade-gaited horse around 15 hands and approximately 7/8 years old. We were told he has Paso Fino in him but have never DNA tested him. He moves alot like one. He is at the top of the herd but not aggressive. He is firm but fair and is excellent with youngsters or problem children. He is what I consider a “caregiver” horse. He knows how to protect his people on the ground from rambunctious horses and takes care of his herdmates. He loves to play and is the horse I first put with any newbies to introduce to the herd.

Justice is a sensitive guy; he requires a knowledgeable rider or confident rider out on the trail, only because he enjoys going fast sometimes but he does slow down once he knows his rider. His gaits are smooth and even, and he has a beautiful canter!

Someone gave him a rough start under saddle, so he does require maintenance. Maintenance: stifles are injected once a year, and a good joint supplement, which our vet recommended, will help the injections last longer. Along with regular bodywork, he is still great to ride. He loves the water and has been through many trails. Don’t let the maintenance scare you; regular exercise, a good diet, 24/7 turnout, and a good joint supplement keeps him sound and happy.

I currently use him as a pony horse for my stud colt and a lesson horse for some students. Justice has been in my trianing program and boarded in my barn since May 2024. He has been over small jumps. He is phenomenal at liberty work! He is UTD on shots, Coggins, and dewormer, and is currently on 24/7 access to grass hay and a forage-based diet of Timothy pellets, beet pulp, and Vermont Blend. Great in a herd and is on moslty 24/7 turnout unless weather is bad. He comes with a tack trunk, everything in his tack trunk, and his winter blanket.

We love our beach boy bangs, but he is ready to find his person!
